The House

Gaelic for “the hollow”, An Cos sits in an elevated position behind an ancient dry stone wall with breath-taking views overlooking Loch Shieldaig and out to sea, towards the Isle of Harris, Scotland.

Newly built as a family home in local Torridon stone the house has been finished to a very high standard, with Caithness stone floors, oak flooring and furnished with a blend of antique and contemporary furniture. Original artworks, mostly by local and Scottish artists, adorn the walls.

The house offers flexible, exceptionally comfortable and luxurious accommodation for up to 10 people. For optimal comfort, though, we recommend a maximum of 8 adults.

"This is our second visit and won't be our last! Everything is fantastic and makes for a relaxing holiday. First class"
